Through a circular released last March 9, Marist School had announced the adjustment of the school’s calendar for the S.Y. 2021-2022 after the three-week health break that had been implemented last January due to the surge of Covid-19 cases.
Classes resumed on February 7 and according to said calendar, the school is currently in the sixth week of the third quarter as of writing. Examinations are scheduled to take place on Week 8, from March 28 to April 1.
Completion week will take place from April 4 to 8, with the Holy Week to be observed right after. The resumption of classes will take place on April 18 which will mark the start of the fourth quarter.
Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTC) for the third quarter will also be held from May 16 to 18.
Graduating and Completing Students will have their examination week from May 30 to June 3, while Undergraduates will have their exams from June 13 to 17. Tentative dates are also set for moving up and graduation ceremonies for this school year.
Afternoon Shift’s Grade 10 Moving Up and Grade 12 Graduations are scheduled on July 5. Grade 6 graduation and Kindergarten’s Moving Up ceremony are scheduled on July 6, while the Grade 12 Graduation and Grade 10 Completion Ceremony are scheduled on July 7.
The distribution of the final report cards will take place on July 8.
In the circular, Br. Allan J. De Castro, FMS, the school’s president, stated that the school is eyeing the possibility of accepting students for certain school activities and visits.
“With the transition of NCR to Alert Level 1, Marist School is currently coordinating with and consulting the Department of Education, IATF, DILG, and LGU Marikina in critically studying the possibility of holding certain activities face-to-face and of accepting students (strictly with parent or teacher supervision) for onsite campus visit to make use of certain facilities for recreation and sports.”
