On October 20, the Marikina City Local Government Unit (LGU) formally announced on their Facebook Page that the city will begin accepting COVID-19 vaccine registrations for individuals aged 12 to 17.

Individuals between the ages of 12 and 17 who live or study in Marikina are eligible to fill out the form, which can be found on their Online Registration Link.

Individuals with comorbidities will be prioritized by the City Government, while those without would be prioritized second.

This order of prioritization follows the Department of Health’s vaccination guidelines for the pediatrics sector.

The National Government had already started a trial to vaccinate minors with comorbidities on October 15, with eight public and private hospitals designated as vaccination centers.
